Athletes of the week. January 25th-30th

Utah Sports Action is pleased to announce this weeks athletes of the week.

Corbin Miller, Jr., Brighton High Miller is the leading scorer for Brighton as well as one of the best juniors in the state. With his size, strength and quickness he can create for himself and his teammates. He gets a lot of credit for his scoring but I am very impressed with the way he sees the court and his passing. Against Lone Peak and Pleasant Grove he had a total of 36 points while hitting 5 3-pointers.

On the season Miller has scored 264 points 16.50 average 45 3-pointers 2.81 per. game 20 rebounds 1.25 per. game 40 assists 2.50 per. game and 19 steals 1.19 per. game. For his career at Brighton he has scored 642 points an average of 10.55 and 96 3-pointers 1.63 per. game. After watching him play it's hard to believe he is only a junior.

Becca Beaudoin, Sr., Alta High Beaudoin has an all around great game. She is a floor leader that can create for herself and set teammates up. Her best ability on the court is her outside shot. She has already hit 52 3-pointers for the season. Last Thursday against Pleasant Grove she scored 17 points had 4 3-pointers, 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal.

On the season Beaudoin has scored 265 points an average of 16.56 per. game 52 3-pointers 3.25 per. game 61 rebounds 3.81 per. game and 21 assists 1.31 per. game. For her career at Alta she has scored 912 points an average of 11.40 per. game and 174 3-pointers .76 per. game. She is one of the main reasons why Alta has a record of 12 and 4.

Congratulations to both Becca Beaudoin and Corbin Miller.
