Week 5 Athletes of the Week

Utah Sports Action is pleased to announce the week 5 athletes of the week. There were a lot of outstanding performances from this week so we decided to have 4 athletes of the week.
Once again Nik made our athlete of the week. All he does is put up ridiculous numbers every week and guides his team to victory. Nik tied a state record with seven touchdown passes and 429 yards through the air. He rushed for 161 yards and a touchdown. He is now second in the record books for 579 all-purpose yards. So far this year Nik has completed 94-142 passes 66% 1,603 passing yards 320.6 yards per. game and 22 touchdown passes. He has rushed for 477 yards 95.4 per. game and 6 touchdowns. On defense he has 21 tackles and one sack. Ogden now 5-0 who moved from 3A to 4A this year has not been hurt by the move. They have outscored their opposition by a huge margin 233 to 82 thus far.
Lloyd, who will be playing at Stanford next year threw five touchdowns for 257 yards and ran for another one as they beat West Jordan 43-14. He has helped Pleasant Grove go 4-0 so far this year. Dallas has completed 34 of 54 passes 63% for 822 yards 205 yards per. game and 13 touchdown passes. Dallas has a bright future at Pleasant Grove and for the Stanford Cardinals.
Davis, has led his team to a 5-0 start and on Friday night as Wasatch beat Manti 56-20 Payton put up crazy numbers. He threw 6 touchdown passes, four of them in the first quarter. He went 12-13 for 268 yards. He now has 1,204 yards passing 240.8 per. game and 15 touchdown passes. He has completed 63-107 passes 58.8% so far this year. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Wasatch go undefeated with Payton leading the way.
Dylan had an outstanding game Friday night as his Miners beat Manti 56-14. Chynoweth rushed for 241 yards and three touchdowns along with a 79 yard touchdown run to help his team improve their record to 4-1. On the season Dylan has carried the ball 68 times for 779 yards and 11 touchdowns. He is averaging 11.45 yards per. carry and that is a big reason why he is being looked at by Air Force, Navy, San Diego State, Stanford, UCLA, Utah and Utah State by scout.com. If you haven’t been to a Park City game you are missing out on a tremendous athlete with a bright future. Congratulations to all 4 athletes of the week. Utah Sports Action will be watching you perform the rest of the season.
