Bingham's Seni Fauonuku Commits to the Utes

Bingham’s Seni Fauonuku (6’0” 285 lbs.), a 2009 Utah Sports Action Athlete of the Week, recently received a scholarship offer from Kyle Whittingham and the University of Utah after a strong showing at the annual “Ute-Shoot” competition.

2009 was Fauonuku’s first season playing high school football in Utah, he previously played at Euless Trinity (the same school Bingham played against in Texas last year). Known for a fierce pass rush and a knack for pressuring the Quarterback, Fauonuku is a key cog in Bingham’s defense and will be looked at as a team leader this coming season.

Fauonuku finished the 2009 season with 75 tackles, four sacks, and numerous Quarterback hurries. Our staff here at Utah Sports Action is expecting a big year out of Seni, and we would like to say congratulations on your commitment.
