Signee Walker Named NJCAA Region I Player of the Year

SALT LAKE CITY - Utah baseball signee Keenyn Walker was recently named the NJCAA Region I Player of the Year. Walker was also selected as the Arizona Community College Athletic Conference Player of the Year.

Walker, who plays center field for Central Arizona College, is second in the ACCAC with a .414 batting average and leads the league in runs (66), stolen bases (57), and triples (7). He ranks third in hits (75) and fourth in RBI (43).

Walker was a three-time all-state selection at Judge Memorial High School.
